Abstract

The contribution aims to present a preliminary analysis of the results of the investigations conducted from 2011 to 2015 in the area of the building with thermal functions of Hadrianopolis, whose life begins in the Flavian-Trajan age, marking the start of the monumental organization in urban sense of the previous settlement, until its reorganization in the 6th century d.C., within the transformation processes of the Byzantine city which will lead to the definitive ruralization of the area.
