Abstract

Nel contesto di un volume multidisciplinare che coniuga egittologia, storia dell'Ottocento sia francese sia egiziano e storia della musica/musicologia, il saggio descrive le peculiarità drammatico-musicali dell'opera "Aida" di Giuseppe Verdi. Ciò in occasione di una mostra al Museo Egizio di Torino dove per la prima volta vengono esposti pubblicamente manoscritti autografi verdiani conservati sia a Casa Ricordi sia presso la Direzione Generale Archivi del Ministero della Cultura italiano.
