Abstract

La convergenza tra alcune nuove tecnologie nell’ambito dei media digitali e della Realtà Virtuale e la visualizzazione di progetto delinea nuovi e stimolanti scenari applicativi per la comunicazione del progetto di industrial design. Il capitolo affronta questa tematica analizzando il campo applicativo di bassa gamma, orientato ad aspirazioni web e portatili del Realtà Virtuale. Vengono analizzati alcuni aspetti cruciali del rapporto tra progettazione e implementazione tecnologica di applicazioni interattive real-time, ponendo enfasi sull'applicazione progettuale dei vincoli tecnologici. Il testo propone un approccio metodologico procedurale per garantire il controllo della qualità della progettazione e della qualità visiva dei progetti presentati.
