Abstract

Gender ‘testimonial literature’ that had its official recognition in 1970 with the institution of the Casa de las Américas Prize, includes numerous typologies that can be grouped into two categories: autobiographical and journalistic testimony. We will analyse journalistic testimony in relation with Colombia, from La verdad sobre mi aventura/ Relato de un naúfrago (1955) by Luis Alejandro Velasco y Gabriel García Márquez to numer- ous texts by Germán Castro Caycedo.
