Abstract

O capítulo pretende apresentar as potencialidades de investigação oferecidas pelo dossiê genético do romance Bolor (1968) de Augusto Abelaira, uma espécie de diário escrito a várias mãos no qual os três personagens envolvidos se alternam na composição de um discurso que tem como fulcro a “descomposição” de uma relação amorosa. Trata-se, portanto, de um texto fragmentário e, de certa forma, “modular”, que se presta a operações de montagem e desmontagem, de gestão das várias vozes narrantes. O dossiê genético da obra – rico em material pré-textual, mas também pós-textual e paratextual – revela de forma extremamente interessante as operações de elaboração e composição deste texto, mas também algumas avaliações interpretativas do autor, inéditas, bem como a sua vontade – que, porém, não chegou a ter expressão pública nas edições sucessivas – de rever o romance.
