Was ist Phaidra? Phaidra ist ein gesamtuniversitäres Digital Asset Management System mit Langzeitarchivierungsfunktionen der Universität Wien. Es eröffnet für Lehre, Forschung, Verwaltung/ Oganisationseinheiten und die einzelnen AkteurInnen die Möglichkeit, ihre Publikationsleistungen in Forschung und Lehre zu speichern, dokumentieren und auf lange Zeit zu archivieren. Daten können systematisch erfasst, mehrsprachig mit Metadaten versehen und zeitlich unbegrenzt weltweit abrufbar gemacht werden. Als beständiger Datenpool für Verwaltung, Forschung und Lehre können die Ressourcen flexibel genutzt werden, die persistente Zitierbarkeit erlaubt das exakte Auffinden und Abrufen von vorbereiteten digitalen Objekten. Aktiv nutzbar ist Phaidra für alle MitarbeiterInnen und StudentInnen der Universität Wien (mailbox- oder u:net-account) Angesehen werden können die Objekte weltweit.
