Sibel Eraslan’ın Romanlarında “Cennet Kadınları”

Abstract

Sibel Eraslan has made a name for herself with her political and literary identity, especially with her writings and speeches about women. In the works he brought to our literature, he showed great sensitivity about women and children and directed his pen in this way. She used the rift between east and west in accordance with the "religious" benefits of her own civilization and made an effort to bring it to our literature. The works of Eastern and Islamic culture, in which the women of exemplary are examined, are in the nature of closing our belief gaps in some periods. In this way, she has made an effort to carry the "Women of Paradise" of Islam to our literature. The fact that he treats women as individuals, aims to return to our fundamental values that have been alienated. As a matter of fact, in our literature after 1980, in contrast to the women who were dealt with with the themes of alienation, introversion, and self-realization anxiety, in Eraslan's works, the existence of women with their individuality and the creation with the instinct of motherhood were traced. In this study, Sibel Eraslan's novels about "Women of Paradise" were examined, and the physical and spiritual characteristics of the heroines were traced and the image of these women in the events was mentioned.
