The argumentative competence is possible to promote or develop it in school environments, especially in the area of natural sciences. To achieve this, we believe that if we make use of constructivist didactic strategies such as the ABP and the use of argumentative models such as the argumentative model of Toulmin, we will obtain optimal results. The present research presents the results obtained when applying in the classroom the two strategies presented in a physics course in a group of eleven grade students in the town of Kennedy.
