LAS CARTAS DE LA VIOLENCIA REVOLUCIONARIA: RODOLFO WALSH

Abstract

La Carta abierta de un escritor a la Junta militar y la Carta a mis amigos de Rodolfo Walsh son dos modulaciones iniciales del testimonio en Argentina. Ambas escrituras exponen la expresión de lo íntimo en el espacio público. Un yo que se ubica en un espacio biográfico para hablar la muerte aún en el momento mismo de su acontecimiento. El testimonio es un género de cruces múltiples; la escritura de Walsh propone la incorporación del género epistolar en el discurso testimonial. Ambas cartas son públicas y tienden más a lo documental que a lo textual; no son portadoras de mensajes sino de «comunicaciones» que intentan reemplazar la inevitable presencia de un destinador y un destinatario. Hay una orden y un mandato en la voluntad de decir «la verdad». Las tensiones entre lo privado y lo público atraviesan el género sobre todo en los testimonios marcados por la centralidad del cuerpo. La posibilidad de incorporarlos al campo de las memorias sociales se enfrenta con la paradoja de exponer el acto de represión que violó la intimidad en un ámbito público.
