En este trabajo presentamos demostraciones formales de desigualdades geométricas relacionando la carga, la masa, el momento angular y el tamaño para objetos compactos, tanto para objetos ordinarios, como una estrella de neutrones, como para agujeros negros. Comenzamos estudiando un problema simple: la relación entre carga y tamaño en simetría esférica. Probamos que si tomamos un dato inicial que contiene un objeto ordinario cargado, dos veces el radio de área del objeto es siempre mayor estricto que la carga del mismo, y además que esta desigualdad es ajustada. Luego estudiamos la relación entre masa, momento angular y tamaño en simetría axial para objetos ordinarios. Obtenemos una cota inferior para la masa ADM en términos del momento angular y el tamaño del objeto. Además presentamos ejemplos numéricos que testan cuán robustas son las hipótesis que utilizamos y el resultado que obtenemos.
We present in this work formal demonstrations of geometrical inequalities relating the charge, the mass, the angular momentum and the size of compact objects, both for ordinary objects like a neutron star and for black holes. We star studying a simple case: the relatión between charge and size in spherical symmetry. We prove that prove that for an spherically symmetric charged body two times the radius is always strictly greater than the charge of the body. Also we prove that this inequality is sharp. Then we study the relation between mass, angular momentum and size in axial symmetry for ordinary objects. We obtain a lower bound for the ADM mass, in terms of the angular momentum and the size of the object. We also compute numerical examples to test the robustness of our hypotheses and results.
