Abstract

Formative archaeological sites at El Alamito (Catamarca, Argentina) are chronologically located between 240 A.D. and 500 A.D. These sites are a manifestation of Condorhuasi culture, called Condorhuasi-Alamito, which is characterized by their architectural pattern, metallurgical and lithic technology and funerary pottery. In these sites several human skeletons were recovered between 1957 and 1999. On this context, our objective is to present the whole collection under a unificated record of remained pieces in order to integrate and reinterpretate them on its cultural framework.
