Heroínas y antiheroínas en el teatro de Griselda Gambaro

Abstract

En este trabajo examino la construcción de los personajes femeninos en algunas de las obras que Griselda Gambaro escribió durante la primera década del siglo XXI. Me detengo en los siguientes personajes: Marion de "Almas", Olga de "Mi querida", Lady Macbeth de "La señora Macbeth" y Zaida de "La persistencia". Estos personajes femeninos se contraponen a las heroínas de obras anteriores, como por ejemplo Dolores de La malasangre" (1981) y Suki de "Del sol naciente" (1984), que encarnaban la lucha contra los abusos de poder, así como una axiología positiva en la que se destacaban los valores de la solidaridad y la compasión. En cambio, algunas de las mujeres del último teatro de Griselda Gambaro portan una axiología negativa, con disvalores tales como egoísmo, falta de piedad, dependencia en relación con el varón y crueldad, que las convierten en verdaderas antiheroínas y nos enfrentan a la representación de estereotipos de género difíciles de desmontar.
