Abstract

The object of this study was to obtain an inventory of species associated to an experimentalcrop of 10 varieties of quinoa. Sampling was performed monthly between October 2007 andMay 2008. Depending on the phenological stage of the plants, we recorded different insectorders. We report two new species of beetles Tetraonyx sp. y Ancistrosoma vittigerum forthe first time for this crop. The relevance of the presence of certain species is discussed inrelation to similar studies made in Latin America
