Abstract

Este artículo repone una conversación sostenida entre Josefina Ludmer y Walter Mignolo respecto de las funciones y sentidos de la Teoría literaria en el marco del Seminario “Algunos problemas de Teoría literaria” dictado en 1985 en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Se trabaja con clases desgrabadas, programas de cátedra, entrevistas y con los textos publicados hasta entonces por Ludmer y Mignolo (artículos, libros, etc.). Se intenta situar la discusión tomando en cuenta tanto el muy divergente contexto de producción de cada crítico como las expectativas y tensiones propias de la vida universitaria durante los primeros años de la posdictadura argentina. Desde este lugar se infieren algunas de las fantasías de intervención que se desprenden de sus discursos.

This article describes a conversation between Josefina Ludmer and Walter Mignolo about the functions and sense of Literary Theory in the frame of the Seminary “Algunos problemas de Teoría Literaria” developed in 1985 in the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Information is derived from class transcriptions, from syllabi, from interviews and from teacher-critics’ productions (articles, books, etc.). On try to set the discussion in the divergent context of production of each critic and in the field of university life of the first years of Argentinean post dictatorship. On intent to capture the fantasies of intervention derived of their discourses.
