Características empleo juvenil en el comercio minorista

Abstract

Este documento contiene los resultados inales de la tesis de grado para Licenciatura y Profesorado en Sociología cuya propuesta fue la de estudiar las características que adquiere el empleo entre los jóvenes sanjuaninos de 18 a 30 años que trabajaron entre los meses de Diciembre de 2012 y Abril de 2013 en el comercio minorista de venta de ropa, calzado y marroquinería en el Departamento Capital, de la Provincia de San Juan. En esta investigación se aplicaron estrategias metodológicas de investigación cuantitativa y cualitativa. La primera se dirigió al estudio de los principales indicadores del mercado de trabajo en el Gran San Juan para el periodo 2003-2013, también sobre el comportamiento del comercio en cuanto a empleos registrados por sector, tamaño de empresa y comportamiento del PGB de los últimos 10 años. Indicadores que ayudaron a contextualizar la situación juvenil. Las fuentes de información a tal efecto, provinieron del Instituto de Estadísticas y Censos (INDEC), el Instituto de Investigaciones Estadísticas y Económicas de la provincia de San Juan (IIEE) y del Ministerio de Trabajo, Empleo y Seguridad Social de la Nación (MTEySS) Para la estrategia cualitativa, se realizaron 15 entrevistas en diferentes establecimientos minoristas de la capital provincial, indagando sobre las condiciones y tipo de contrato, régimen de trabajo general, relaciones establecidas entre jefes, compañeros y clientes, el papel del Sindicato de Empleados de Comercio (SEC) y el de organismos como la Subsecretaria de Trabajo provincial y la Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos.

This document contains a synthesis of my inal research to get my bachelor’s degree in sociology. This proposal was to study the characteristics of young workers between 18 to 30 years old which worked in December 2012 and April 2013 in little shops of clothing, leather goods and shoes in the Capital city (San Juan, Argentina) To do that, this work applied two methods strategies, quantitative and qualitative researches. For the irst strategy, was studied to the most important indicators of work market (key indicators) and his special attention for young people. The sources came from INDEC (Instituto de Estadísticas y Censos), IIEE (Instituto de Investigaciones Estadísticas y Económicas de la Provincia de San Juan) and MTEySS (Ministerio de Trabajo, Empleo y Seguridad Social de la Nación) For the qualitative strategy, was applied 15 interviews (in their work places) to inquiring about the condition and type of labor contract, work regime, relationships, the role of Unions workers, and other organizations like AFIP (Adiministración Federal de Ingresos Públicos) and the State (Sub-secretaría de Trabajo de la Provincia de San Juan) all of this helped to problematize the youth condition at work.
