Aportes al registro de tarabitas en Antofagasta de la Sierra

Abstract

El objetivo de este aporte es caracterizar una tarabita (Figura 1) rescatada en un contexto mortuorio del sitio La Alumbrera (Antofagasta de la Sierra, Provincia de Catamarca, Puna meridional argentina) (Figura 2). Se presentan los resultados obtenidos a partir de la identificación taxonómica de la madera y su datación radiocarbónica para compararlos con los datos disponibles respecto a otros ejemplares relevados en la microrregión y áreas vecinas.
