Abstract

A partir de las reconsideraciones crítico-textuales de Theoroi de Esquilo propuestas por Franco Ferrari (2013) intento analizar la importancia de las emociones en la “escena” en la que el Coro de Sátiros y Dioniso intercambian acusaciones de maltrato y calumnias (vv. 37-84, según la numeración propuesta por Ferrari= Fr. 78 a, col. II, Fr. 78 b y Fr. 78c col.I, Radt) y la venganza del dios en la búsqueda de recomponer su timé. La hipótesis es que las acusaciones en contra de Dioniso de parte del Coro de Sátiros son de diferente tenor de acuerdo a la persona ante la cual son esgrimidas: jocosas y maliciosas frente a determinados interlocutores cuya identidad desconocemos por el estado fragmentario del texto (posiblemente Poseidón o Sísifo), y serio-trágicas frente a Dioniso. En ambos casos constituyen un menosprecio hacia el dios que justifica y conlleva su consecuente orgé y su acción de venganza que, de la misma manera, conjuga elementos jocosos y serios. Así, en base al análisis léxico en una primera instancia, es posible determinar un guión emocional implícito que permite hablar de un rol metagenérico de las emociones y de su importancia central en la función del Drama Satírico en la escena ática.
