Producción artística y subjetividad frente a la inmediatez de la imagen digital

Abstract

Este capítulo explora cómo la aceleración en la producción y consumo de imágenes digitales ha transformado las relaciones entre arte, sociedad y subjetividad. Se analiza la tensión entre sublimación y desublimación, destacando cómo la tecnología digital fomenta una inmediatez que obstaculiza procesos reflexivos y simbólicos esenciales para la vida colectiva. A partir de conceptos de Freud, Flusser y Zourabichvili, el texto aborda la pérdida de distancia crítica en el arte y la sociedad contemporánea, vinculándola con la captura técnica del deseo y la contracción de la subjetividad. Asimismo, se discuten los impactos del capitalismo tardío y las tecnologías digitales en el arte, desde su producción hasta su consumo, revelando cómo el mercado reconfigura los valores estéticos. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre el arte como un espacio potencial para reimaginar relaciones sociales y culturales frente a un mundo dominado por flujos tecnológicos y económicos que refuerzan la literalidad y la automatización.
