Abstract

A partir del documento "Por una soberanía idiomática", que un amplio espectro de escritores, intelectuales y académicos firmaron y publicaron en setiembre de 2013 para pronunciarse sobre problemas referidos a la cuestión de la lengua nacional-americana en el contexto de la globalización, este trabajo se propone indagar de qué modo y en qué medida la cuestión de la lengua sigue interpelando hoy, en los comienzos del siglo XXI, a los escritores argentinos. Desde esta perspectiva, el trabajo parte por revisar las hipótesis de César Aira en un texto como "Lo incomprensible" (elaborado en el 2000 para participar en una mesa sobre "El español en América") para ocuparse luego de las inflexiones que le dan a la cuestión de la lengua nacional dramaturgos como Mauricio Kartun y Rafael Spregelburd. Especialmente, el trabajo se detiene en dos obras de Spregelburd a las que se propone leer como particulares versiones de la imaginación borgiana en la ficción argentina del siglo XXI: por un lado, el singular poliglotismo cosmopolita de Spam (2013); por otro, la singular lectura de "El escritor argentino y la tradición" implícita en Apátrida. Doscientos años y unos meses (2010), en tanto intervención en los festejos del Bicentenario.
