W. H. Hudson: guías de viaje (1900-1910)

Abstract

A Naturalist's Impressions in West Cornwall (1908); Afoot in England (1909); y A Shepherd's Life: Impressions of the South Wiltshire Downs (1910).

My essay is a point of view from travel accounts, exceptional horizon of inquiry of the relationship between language, the universe of the symbolic and the material world of life. And starting, certainty about the popularity of travel record contemporary version: excursionism. We recognize in this genre as social practice, one point in W. H. Hudson, in his biography and literature. Almost like guidebooks I will talk about Hampshire Days (1903), The Land's End. A Naturalist's Impressions in West Cornwall (1908); Afoot in England (1909); and A Shepherd's Life: Impressions of the South Wiltshire Downs (1910).
