Abstract

This work presents an analysis of the Argentine commu- nity theater play «The system fell, sorry for the inconvenience» (2014) by the Cooperativa la Comunitaria, a social and cultural organization belonging to the Argentine provinces of Buenos Aires and La Pampa. We propose to reflect on the meanings of rural life and work, productive activity and consumer life that constructs the dramaturgy of the afore- mentioned work, with the aim of generating a contribution to the field of Theater Studies in general and to the community theater in particular. On the other hand, we are interested in highlighting the distinctive characteristics that rural community theater productions assume in relation to those in urban contexts. The work proposes is proposed from a transdisciplinary approach (Bugnone et. al, 2019) that allows us to articulate in the analysis the meanings of dramaturgy with the group's modes of production, its organizational dynamics, its aesthetic and political proposal, for which We will articulate theoretical contributions from Sociology, Anthropology and Theater Studies.
