Aceites Vegetales Comestibles con Alto Contenido de Tocoferoles y Fitoesteroles

Abstract

The article describes a patent on the composition of edible vegetable oil which presents a larger concentration of natural and genuine tocopherols and phytosterols than those found in regular refined oil. This composition is obtained by a process that restitutes to said edible refined vegetable oil the own tocopherols and phytosterols, as well as other compounds of bromatological interest originally found in the oleaginous seeds and/or grains, and which were separated during the refining process of the same oil as byproducts and/or residue, until achieving larger concentrations than those in refined oil. A Patent Application has been presented to the Argentine INPI (Instituto Nacional de Propiedad Industrial) by the authors.
