Probióticos y abejas: aliados en la apicultura

Abstract

El uso de probióticos en los suplementos alimenticios que el apicultor utiliza en las colmenas, se presenta como una alternativa natural, amigable con el medio ambiente, fácil de aplicar y que no deja residuos contaminantes en la colmena ni tampoco en la miel. En el Laboratorio de Estudios Apícolas se están realizando investigaciones básicas y aplicadas sobre el uso de probióticos como suplemento dietario para Apis mellifera.
