El teatro comunitario en el campo teatral porteño: Estrategias de ingreso y legitimación

Abstract

En este ensayo nos proponemos abordar el teatro comunitario como modalidad de teatro social surgida en nuestro país en el contexto de apertura democrática luego de la última dictadura militar que atravesó el país entre 1976 y 1983. Los antecedentes de esta práctica artística suelenremontarse a las primeras manifestaciones de teatro independiente en nuestro país y al teatro vocacional, así como algunas formas de teatro militante que surgieron en los últimos años de ladécada de los sesenta y se disolvieron hacia 1975. Con el objetivo de abordar nuestro caso de estudio, su surgimiento y su posicionamiento en el campo teatral de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, realizaremos un recorrido inicial por una parte de la historia de conformación de este campo para luego introducirnos en el caso de análisis.
