Abstract

Se trata de un artículo que aborda la devoción, creencia y celebraciones a la figura de Santiago en en el noroeste argentino desde una perspectiva que contempla la perspectiva de los lugareños, así como los diversos modos de externación en que se concretan las diferentes instancias de esta compleja figura del santoral católico imbricada con las creencias prehispánicas en una original síntesis cultural que se encuentra totalmente vigente.
