Frases nominales en construcciones causativas perifrásticas en toba del oeste de Formosa (flia. guaycurú, Argentina)

Abstract

En toba del oeste de Formosa, la estrategia perifrástica de causativización consiste en el uso del verbo en "hacer" junto a un complemento verbal en el que se expresa el evento causado. Esta estrategia de causativización fue detectada en todos los verbos del corpus analizado, independientemente de la transitividad o el aspecto léxico inherente de los mismos. En este trabajo, se analiza especialmente la codificación como frases nominales plenas de los argumentos en construcciones causativas perifrásticas cuyo verbo causado es sintácticamente transitivo. La construcción causativa perifrástica por default es aquella en la que se expresa obligatoriamente el paciente, último participante afectado de la cadena causativa y puede expresarse el causante. La codificación del causado como frase nominal plena es posible a través del recurso a estrategias morfosintácticas tales como la antipasiva, o la pasiva no promocional. El análisis se lleva a cabo siguiendo lo propuesto por Haspelmath (1993), Givón (2001), Shibatani (2002), Shibatani & Pardeshi (2002) y Song (1996), entre otros. El corpus analizado surge del trabajo de campo realizado en la comunidad de Vaca Perdida (Depto. Bermejo, Formosa, Argentina).
