Abstract

El artículo expone un trabajo de investigación que tuvo como propósito aportar al conocimiento de las características de los ingresantes a la universidad. En primer lugar, se analizan los distintos enfoques sobre las políticas de ingreso a la universidad, como así también las condiciones y condicionantes individuales e institucionales presentes en el momento del ingreso. En segundo lugar, se analizan los perfiles socio-educativos de 168 ingresantes entre los años 2010 y 2011 a la carrera de Ciencias de la Educación de la UNLP. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de un cuestionario y son analizados en relación con las expectativas de los ingresantes, sus imaginarios sobre los estudios universitarios, las trayectorias laborales y educativas.

O artigo apresenta uma pesquisa que teve como propósito contribuir para o conhecimento das características dos ingressantes à universidade. Em primeiro lugar, são analisadas as diferentes abordagens sobre as políticas de ingresso à universidade, bem como as condições e condicionantes individuais e institucionais presentes no momento do ingresso. Em segundo lugar, são analisados os perfis sócio-educativos de 168 ingressantes entre os anos 2010 e 2011 no curso de Ciências da Educação da UNLP. Os dados foram coletados através de um questionário e são analisados em relação às expectativas dos ingressantes, seus imaginários sobre os estudos universitários, as trajetórias laborais e educacionais.

The aim of this quantitative research was to contribute to the knowledge of the characteristics shown by students at university entrance. We first analyzed the different policy approaches to university entrance, as well as the individual and institutional conditions presented at that time, and then we focused on the socio-educational profiles of 168 students at the entrance to the career of Education Sciences in the Universidad Nacional de La Plata during 2010 and 2011. Data were collected through a questionnaire and were analyzed in relation to the expectations of the students, their imaginary about studying and their educational and working trajectories.

El artículo es producto del trabajo desempeñado por la autora en el marco de la Comisión Interclaustro de Ingreso a las carreras de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata -UNLP-, entre 2009 y 2011
