Abstract

En el artículo se presentan los análisis y las reflexiones sobre la construcción de archivos históricos escolares desarrollados en la ciudad de Mar del Plata a través de proyectos de extensión y voluntariado universitario. Estos espacios donde se generan datos, información, obras intelectuales y se registra la vida escolar -a través de todo tipo de documentos- ponen a prueba tanto a los paradigmas actuales sobre el conocimiento, como sus usos, preservación, disponibilidad y públicos futuros. Las actividades realizadas por docentes, investigadores, estudiantes y agentes comunitarios nos permitieron a su vez, plantear algunas preguntas y buscar nuevas respuestas. En la era digital ¿cómo se produce la articulación entre los archivos, el patrimonio y la historia oral? ¿Qué particularidades tienen los archivos históricos escolares que se co-construyen en los establecimientos educativos? ¿Es necesario tomar en cuenta aspectos legales en este tipo de tareas? Los archivos cobran protagonismo como herederos de los reservorios del conocimiento y patrimonio cultural de la humanidad. El vértigo de la producción de enormes cantidades de datos e información en nuestras sociedades nos augura un serio debate acerca de los archivos, su preservación y disponibilidad.

The paper presents the analysis and reflections on the construction of historical school archives developed in the city of Mar del Plata through extension and volunteering university projects. These spaces where data, information, intellectual works are generated and school life is recorded - through all kinds of documents- test both the current paradigms about knowledge, and its uses, preservation, availability and future audiences. The activities carried out by teachers, researchers, students and community agents allowed us, in turn, to formulate some questions and find new answers. In the digital age, how is the articulation between archives, heritage and oral history? What are the peculiarities of the school historical archives that are co-constructed in educational establishments? Is it necessary to take into account legal aspects in this type of tasks? The archives gain prominence as heirs of the reservoirs of knowledge and cultural heritage of humanity. The vertigo of the production enormous amounts of data and information of our societies augurs us a serious debate about the archives, its preservation and availability.
