Abstract

The aim is to characterize blogs of language and literature based on some potentialities of digital technologies: multimedia, hypertextuality, flexibility and interactivity. After a first record of these dimensions in the different blogs, the constant comparative method is applied to detect both differences and similarities between them. Information derived from teacher interviews is also considered. The analysis shows that the mentioned characteristics have been considered in blogs, but that their use is conditioned by the teaching role. Students are not encouraged to interact with each other or to use ICT or to produce cultural productions.
