Žižek y la diferencia sexual

Žižek y la diferencia sexual

Abstract

This article deals with the treatment of sexual difference in Slavoj Žižek's philosophy, mainly in the works The permanence in the negative (2016A), The indivisible rest (2016B), The prickly subject (2001), Contingency, hegemony and universality ( 2004) and How to read Lacan (2008). In these philosophical works, the Slovenian philosopher works on the category of sexual difference from a Lacanian reading of German idealism and expresses himself frontally against the postmodern and post-structuralist historicism that disarms the sexual difference of all ontological character. For this reason, we try to recover the ontological sense of the category of sexual difference, as well as the Lacanian echoes that this category carries in itself. For this purpose we will place his philosophy within the framework of the School of Ljubljana, a school of thought characterized by the confluence of German idealist philosophy with Lacanian psychoanalysis.
