From his early work as a playwright and director, Mariano Pensotti's work gives an account of a creative and experimental treatment of the scenic space, conceived as an "active dramaturgical element" (De Marinis), which conditions, determines and redefines dramatic writing and scenic event. Ineach of his settings the director sets up an expansive story deployed through multiple means and supportes. We intend to make an approximation to Pensotti's poetics from his conception of space as a dynamic, open and polysemic, which favors the multiplicity of looks and the diversity of views, questioning the idea of unique, centralized and totalizing perception.
