Investigaciones arqueológicas en el centro-oeste del Chubut

Abstract

Desde el año 2009 llevamos adelante el proyecto de investigación arqueológica denominado "Holoceno Tardío en el área cordillerana del Centro-Oeste de Chubut" dirigido por la Dra. Vivian Scheinsohn y radicado en el Instituto Nacional de Antropología y Pensamiento Latinoamericano (INAPL). Este proyecto se desarrolla en una franja del territorio chubutense que integra, hacia el oeste, ambientes de bosque y ecotono bosque-estepa, donde se ubican las localidades cordilleranas de Corcovado, Río Pico y Aldea Atilio Viglione y, hacia el este, la estepa, donde se encuentran los poblados de Tecka, Gobernador Costa, José de San Martín y Aldea Apeleg. En esta nota presentamos los avances en la investigación obtenidos hasta el momento.
