Procesos creativos de mujeres emprendedoras

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze creative processes of a group of women entrepreneurs. It is especially interesting to investigate perceptions about the decisions, conditions and potentialities of the projects developed by each of the participating women. It is also important to study creative processes considering the particularities of women and their initiatives. Ten women participated in the study, developing different ventures in the city of Río Cuarto (Argentina). As a data collection strategy, semistructured face-to-face or technology-mediated interviews were used. The analyzes show different conditions of the processes, highlighting the initiatives and motivations of women to develop their projects and the effort involved in the daily work considering the multiple work and family activities that are in charge of them. Social networks are important tools for the development of enterprises, achieving visibility of products and communication with other people. The fairs and the exhibition halls are also necessary spaces for the diffusion of creative productions and the connection with other entrepreneurs and groups. Multiple conditions go through the creative processes of entrepreneur women, make them more complex and sometimes difficult, despite the personal and motivational resources of the interviewees that have allowed them to continue the initiatives and project new challenges.
