El artículo desarrolla cómo la literatura de ciencia ficción, partiendo de los adelantos científicos de Julio Verne que se materializaron, pasando por cómo predijo el control de los medios con Orwell, hasta cómo predijo el miedo que ocasionó la pandemia a través de la obra Matheson, muestran la posibilidad predictiva de la literatura.
