Análisis zooarqueológico del recinto 1 de Pajchela Núcleo: Un acercamiento a las prácticas de manejo y consumo de animales en un contexto agro-pastoril

Abstract

En este trabajo presento los resultados del análisis zooarqueológico del Recinto 1 de Pajchela Núcleo. El sitio se emplaza en la Quebrada de Pajchela, en la localidad de Cusi Cusi (Rinconada, Puna de Jujuy). Pajchela Núcleo (PJN) es un sitio compuesto por recintos habitacionales, estructuras agrícolas y de manejo del agua, conformando un sistema productivo complejo. Este patrón de asentamiento se completa con un montículo plataforma artificial construido en tres niveles en la terraza del río, sobre un afloramiento rocoso. Esta estructura se encuentra conformada por 15 cámaras de piedra en distintos estados de conservación.
