Abstract

¿Qué significa hacer una antología personal? ¿Qué se elige y por qué? ¿Qué queda afuera? ¿Qué supone el gesto de inventar una antología, en ese momento, cuando Ricardo Piglia ya conocía la gravedad de la enfermedad que lo aquejaba? ¿Cuáles son los criterios para esas elecciones? ¿El gusto personal, la calidad del material, algunos temas, las experiencias atadas a los textos, los momentos de publicación, los éxitos de recepción, los premios acumulados? A la idea de antología, la dedicatoria a su amigo Roberto Jacoby superpone "retrospectiva". El término implica volver sobre un tiempo pasado. Como si al final del camino, el sujeto se detuviera para ver lo que ha dejado atrás. Conlleva, también, efectuar un balance y ensayar una comprensión. La antología y la retrospectiva comparten la imagen de un aleph con su dimensión de concentración y densidad significantes...
