En el marco de su “Antropología” Hegel trata una serie de temas que han sido poco muy poco estudiados por sus comentadores. Llaman la atención particularmente sus extensas reflexiones acerca del “magnetismo animal”. En ellas puede reconocerse el intento por dar cuenta de un fenómeno que se encuentra aparentemente más allá de los límites de la razón, pero al mismo tiempo, entre otras cosas, que para su concepción de la vida mental y corporal la intersubjetividad no es algo que surge de la relación de los individuos entre sí sino que es constitutiva para la formación de la subjetividad misma. Su concepto de “genius” está diseñado para pensar la relación al otro en el interior de sí.

: In the framework of his “Anthropology” Hegel deals with a series of topics that have been little studied by his commentators. Particular attention is drawn to his extensive reflections on “animal magnetism”. In them it can be recognized the attempt to account for a phenomenon that is apparently outside of the limits of reason, but at the same time, among other things, that for his conception of mental and bodily life intersubjectivity is not something that arises from the relation of individuals with others but that is constitutive for the formation of the same subjectivity. His concept of “genius” is designed to think about the relationship to the other within himself.
