Abstract

Este libro explora los modos en que, desde fracciones ideológicas y culturales disímiles, Beatriz Guido, Manuel Mujica Lainez y David Viñas leyeron las alteraciones políticas y culturales que introdujo el primer peronismo a través de la figura de la familia póstuma. Los tres escritores construyeron en sus narraciones diferentes modalidades de esta figura como propuestas ficcionales que ponían en debate un proyecto y un proceso con el que disentían. Se parte del abordaje de la familia como un núcleo sobre el que se cruzaron discusiones políticas y sociales centrales durante los años cincuenta que provocaron en ella ciertos cambios considerados como transformaciones respecto de construcciones domésticas previas. En este sentido, al proceso de modernización relativa de la familia, se sumaron los debates sobre la legislación peronista (divorcio vincular y reconocimiento de hijos ´ilegítimos´), que fueron fuertemente resistidas tanto por sectores conservadores como por los liberales que defendían la estricta separación del Estado respecto de los asuntos privados. De este modo, la familia se convertía en un enclave en disputa en el que se enfrentaban distintos modelos de país, a la vez que un elemento especialmente interesante para las ficciones de estos años. De todos los escritores que participaron de la discusión política y cultural del período fueron Mujica, Guido y Viñas quienes apelaron, con sus narraciones, más recurrentemente a la imagen de un orden doméstico roto para poner de manifiesto, a través de ella, los malestares políticos y culturales.
