Psicofarmacología: farmacodinamia y modelos experimentales.

Abstract

El presente capítulo describe y analiza los alcances y limitaciones de los distintos métodos disponibles para evaluar y predecir la eficacia de drogas diseñadas para aliviar el sufrimiento mental. Asimismo, detalla los mecanismos de acción propuestos para los cuatro grupos terapéuticos de drogas con acción psicotrópica: ansiolíticos, antidepresivos, estabilizantes del estado de ánimo y antipsicóticos.
