Abstract

"Kiedy w czerwcu 2002 r. Jan Woleński, podsumowując roczny cykl spotkań w krakowskim Centrum Kultury Żydowskiej zatytułowany „Polacy i Żydzi od nowa”, powiedział, że w świetle dotychczasowych dyskusji na temat Holokaustu rzeczą nader pożądaną byłoby wyłączenie wymiaru religijnego, wydawało mi się, że tak nie można. Byłem bowiem głęboko przekonany, iż właśnie wymiar religijny odegrał, jeśli nie decydującą, to w każdym razie istotną rolę zarówno w samym przebiegu zniszczenia europejskich Żydów, jak i w reakcji na to wydarzenie chrześcijańskiej Europy. Tak oto zrodziła się druga część wspomnianego cyklu „Teologia Holokaustu”."(...)
