Innowacje w edukacji – grywalizacja w procesie dydaktycznym

Abstract

Analizy wzbogacono o wnioski dotyczące korzyści i kosztów wynikających z podjęcia próby wprowadzenia w strukturę zajęć elementów gier, a następnie zaproponowano zmianę perspektywy myślenia o grze, jaką jest szkoła. This article raises issues related to gamification of the teaching process. The paper contains many examples of the gamification techniques adopted for major courses: Economics and International Financial Markets for students of International Relations and Security Studies in the Institute of Political Science and International Relations of Jagiellonian University. The examples discussed in the article were examined in reference to the assumed teaching effects, grouped into the three categories: knowledge, skills and competences. The article also contains a cost and benefits analysis of gamification in education, and concludes with the proposal of changing the way of thinking about the schooling understood as a game.
