Angst i juniorelite-fotball

Abstract

Problemstilling: Hvilke typer angst kan en finne i juniorelite-fotball, og hvordan påvirker angst en fotballspiller på juniorelite- nivå? Bakgrunn: Det er rett i underkant av 300 millioner fotballspillere i verden, fordelt på over 200 land. Selv om fotball har helsefremmende effekter og evner å samle folkeslag fra ulike kulturer, kan stress og angstrelaterte følelser ta overhånd. Når følelser av ikke møte kravene som stilles oppstår, er det viktig å ha gode teknikker for å kunne løse det. Mange har ikke teknikkene som kreves, og velger å gi seg med idrett. Derfor var det interessant å undersøke juniorelite-utøveres erfaring og bidra til å utvikle kunnskapen på fagområdet. Metode: Litteraturstudie som tar utgangspunkt i 8 fagfellevurderte studier for å belyse problemstillingen. Funn: Studiene foreslår at angst er en vanlig opplevelse blant unge fotballspillere på juniornivå og kan påvirkes av skader, utmattelse, stress, perfeksjonisme og generelle psykologiske behov. Konklusjon: Både sosial angst og trekk- og tilstandsangst ble identifisert i studiene, med prestasjonsangst som den mest vanlige typen angst. Funnene understreker viktigheten av å adressere mental helse i idrett, og for å utdanne trenere og støtteapparat til å gjenkjenne og håndtere stress og angst blant utøvere.
