Abstract

Prosjektet har hatt som mål å sammenligne analysemetodene KCl, Spurway og Lakanen med de nye metodene CAT (CaCl2/DTPA) og VANN. Bakgrunnen for dette er at CAT (CaCl2/DTPA) og VANN-metoden innføres som mye europeiske standarder for angivelse av plantetilgjengelig næringsinnhold i organiske dyrkingsmedier. Følgende vekstmedier ble benyttet i metodesammenligningen: ren veksttorv med eller uten perlite, veksttorv med leire, jordblandinger, bark og kompost. Nye normtall på basis av "nye" metoder ble utarbeidet for de elementene hvor det var signifikante sammenhengeer med "gamle" metoder. Generelt gir CAT-metoden bedre samsvar med "gamle" metoder enn VANN-metoden. for CAT-metoden er detkun vekstmediene Bark og Kompost som ikke gir gode sammenhenger med gamle metoder for enkelte elementer. Både for makro- og mikronæringsstoffene viser resultatene at CAT-metoden bør velges fremfor VANN-metoden som rutinemetoder for vekstmedier.
