Temps d’espera, temps d’escolta

Abstract

From the world of education and clinics we are very concerned about the concept of listening with the aim of working with people and creating enough empathy to build meaningful relations. When we speak about the first childhood, a warm welcome and a listening ear are the basic skills which enable an environment of well-being and safety. The adult who is taking care of the children is responsible for establishing that climate and for helping children to develop their necessary abilities to achieve an evolution as smooth as possible. The psychomotor activity training serves these abilities. Therefore, it is very important to learn and know how to wait, not stepping forward, giving the space and time, avoiding the making of, because children are the real participants in their own maturing process and we are their companions, their facilitators.
