Se pretende ayudar a comprender que se entiende por 'blended learning' y a entresacar algunas de las aportaciones que hacen que se entienda mejor el concepto. Tras estudiar el 'blended learning' como solución a los problemas que aparecen en el e-learning y en la enseñanza tradicional, se analizan sus posibilidades y sus características. Se termina con una reflexión sobre la razón de la necesidad de este modelo más allá de los motivos economicistas o didácticos.
