Historia del arte para niños

Abstract

Se crea una guía didáctica de Historia del Arte en la Edad Media (Románico y Gótico) para el primer ciclo de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. Se pretende facilitar la labor del profesorado de la asignatura de Ciencias Sociales o Conocimiento del Medio creando documentos adaptados a las necesidades de los alumnos. El objetivo principal es que el alumno comprenda la historia de los pueblos a través de sus manifestaciones artísticas, aprenda a observarlas y sea capaz de admirarlas. El profesor que imparte los contenidos de Historia del Arte necesita mucho tiempo para buscar y seleccionar aquellas imágenes que al alumno le ayudan a entender e identificar lo estudiado. La falta de tiempo provoca dar menos importancia a la materia artística, que por otra parte es la asignatura que más incide en la imaginación del alumno y con la que se va a encontrar a lo largo de su vida pudiendo disfrutar del patrimonio artístico. La guía didáctica consta de dos partes: una se refiere a la manifestaciones artísticas en general del periodo estudiado centrándose en la arquitectura, escultura y pintura, mediante sencilla explicaciones e ilustraciones en acuarela; y la otra, se centra en fotografías de los monumentos de Castilla y León. Para acompañar a las explicaciones y presentaciones se selecciona música acorde con la época.
