Las reformas curriculares guían las escuelas : pero, ¿hacia dónde?

Abstract

Se analiza cuál ha de ser el rol de las competencias en el currículum de la enseñanza obligatoria para que los sistemas educativos ganen en eficacia y equidad. Numerosos resultados de investigaciones desarrolladas en este campo han mostrado la importancia de poner énfasis primero y ante todo sobre situaciones posteriores complejas en el aprendizaje, el saber-hacer y las habilidades sociales. Es una cuestión de situaciones complejas (denominada pedagogía de la integración) en la que el estudiante es invitado a usar el conocimiento, el saber-hacer y saber-estar ya adquiridas, no como fines en sí mismos, sino como recursos de los propios estudiantes para hacer frente a la complejidad de su entorno. Se muestra hasta qué punto la práctica del enfoque de resolución de problemas es un medio útil para conocer y cómo conocer, pero por otra parte, la práctica de situaciones complejas como medio para el aprendizaje previo, representa una innovación poco recomendable.
