Materiales curriculares para favorecer el acceso a la lectura en Educación Infantil

Abstract

Los autores pretenden analizar los prerrequisitos de la lectura y ofrecer alternativas prácticas que favorezcan, en alumnos de Educación Infantil y retrasados lectores, la adquisición del lenguaje escrito, desarrollando competencias lingüísticas y contemplando la idea fundamental de que 'cuanto más consciente es el niño de la relación que existe entre habla y escritura mejor preparado estará para leer'. No se limitan a la elaboración teórica de la propuesta, sino que además la materializan bajo la forma de un programa específico de preparación para el aprendizaje de la lectura y la escritura. Este programa está constituido por un centenar de actividades debidamente secuencidadas, descritas y acompañadas de apoyaturas visuales para facilitar su puesta en práctica por parte de los profesores. Su eficacia ha sido ya comprobada experimentalmente mediante una investigación planificada y realizada en el propio ámbito escolar.
