Abstract

La investigación realizada en busca de música culta en el deporte ha proporcionado interesantes hallazgos en los siglos XVIII, XIX, XX e incluso en el XXI. A grandes líneas se puede decir que los compositores se habían visto motivados por hechos deportivos puntuales o por ambientes socio-políticos que favorecían el sentido lúdico del deporte, como los existentes en la Viena del ochocientos o en el París del novecientos.
