Abstract

Presenta un análisis de la situación de la educación musical en primaria y de los problemas de integración de esta materia en la escuela, ejemplificado con tres casos de práctica pedagógica. Para normalizar la situación, el autor propone un modelo transdisciplinar en el que el alumnado interviene en los procesos sociales y culturales desde distintas perspectivas, también la sonora. Para ello debe garantizarse al alumnado la experiencia directa mediante la producción, la audición y la contextualización musical y aparcar la mera memorización de signos y símbolos.
